Going to a foreign country?
Getting lost in translation is not so much fun (if you are not Scarlet Johansson). That place can be a foreign land, an unfamiliar suburb, or occasionally even your own apartment when a new lawn or cleaning crew arrives.
What does one do when you notice someone who does not speak your language? You could attempt using your hands to state your position on each issue. But cultures differ, situations differ and thus signs do not always properly translate your views on the issue at hand. You could always have a dictionary around and frantically sieve through thousands of words in a split of a second. And yet, a paper variant could be not so fast to get around. Why not trust the technology then? Like having an electronic translator. A seemingly impossible job of communication in a tongue unfamiliar to you might be doable with the help of a handheld electronic device! Aren't translation devices just amazing? Handheld translation devices were first introduced by Franklin Electronic Publishers and they are still viewed as the industry standard. An electronic dictionary lets you to input a word in your native language and get the proper equivalent in the other language. Not only you see the word combination, you can truly hear it as the fancy electronic dictionaries can pronounce the words on display. There will be not so many stories for you to share with your friends about confusing experiences because you could not say the word
